Proton began operating its first domestic BEV plant through collaboration with Geely and started mass production of the
e.MAS brand. The first model, e.MAS 7, developed on Geely’s Galaxy E5 platform, is locally assembled via CKD,
with the e.MAS 5 also scheduled for launch later this year.
